    Dr. E. Edward Sheeley

    Associate Professor, received his Ph.D in Physiology from Auburn University. His dissertation research was in the field of endocrinology and involved the use of radioimmunoassay techniques to study thyroid hormone levels (T3 and T4) in dogs. He was particularly interested in evaluating oxygen consumption and thyroid-pituitary-hypothalamic interactions in the dog. Dr. Sheeley's teaching interests include vertebrate physiology and histology.
