SUBSCRIBE TO THE VSU CALENDARS WITH ICAL ON MAC OS X 10.6
The new VSU Institutional Calendar system now allows users to subscribe to the individual calendars. Here are the instructions on how to accomplish this using iCal on Mac OS X 10.6 (aka Snow Leopard).
Step 1
Navigate in your web browser to the VSU Calendars page:
http://www.valdosta.edu/vsu/calendars/
Step 2
Click on the link labeled Subscribe with iCal/Outlook for the calendar that you wish to subscribe to.
Step 3
iCal should open (if it is not already open). Click the Subscribe button.
Step 4
The next dialog box that comes up allows you to configure the calendar subscription options. Click on the dropdown menu next to Auto-refresh and select Every hour from the available options. Note: if you don't select an auto-refresh option your calendar will have to be manually refreshed.
Step 5
After configuring the options to look as the dialog below shows, click the OK button.
Step 6
You have now added the calendar to iCal on Mac OS X 10.6. The subscribed calendars will show up at the bottom of the calendar list under the heading Subscriptions.
