What is WebCT Vista?
WebCT Vista is an enterprise web-based learning management system used to deliver web-enhanced or totally online courses. It provides tools for faculty to provide additional opportunities for learning outside the classroom or to replace the classroom entirely.
Common uses:
- Place and organize materials like notes, syllabi, project or lab directions on the web for all students taking a class in an authenticated space
- Segregate communications like mail messages, announcements, discussions, etc with all students through a self-contained site
- Have online quizzes and exams
- Allows cooperative small group assignments
