Why can't I Log in?

The username and password to log into BlazeVIEW are the same as for your VSU email account. Students not enrolled through the VSU registration system will need to consult with their program coordinator or section instructor for login instructions.

Specific log in problems can be addressed by the following:

  • Do not know your email account? See the VSU IT Helpdesk page on  Finding Your BlazeNet  and BlazeMail Password.
    • Your account username is not your email address. It is the portion before "@valdosta.edu".

  • Your password may not be what you expected. (Don't we all have too many passwords?) Check that you can log into BlazeNet.
    • Make sure CAPS LOCK is off.
    • Make sure your web browser has not saved an old password.
    • The IT Helpdesk can help you with changing your password in BlazeNet. Complete the Vista Help Form and make sure to indicate the problem is a password problem.
       
  • Your BlazeVIEW account may not have been created yet.  If you are a new VSU student, your BlazeVIEW user account will be created about a week before your classes begin.  Please check back at that time to verify your login. (Please Note: Although you will be able to log in once your account is created, students will not be able to access their courses until the first day of class).
  • If you are enrolled in a University System of Georgia Collaborative programs you will not log into VSU's BlazeVIEW. Please select the appropriate login for your program: eCore | GOML | WebMBA | European Union Certificate
