Fee Waivers For Independent study exams
In an effort to meet the needs of the students of Valdosta State University and surrounding areas the Office of Testing offers a limited amount of fee waivers for exams each semester. We currently offer need-based fee waivers for the administrative fee attached to Independent Study Examinations. A letter of economic hardship and a Request for Fee Waiver Form (please see below) must be submitted to the Office of Testing for consideration.

Fee waivers for the gmat
If your present financial situation makes it impossible for you to pay the $250 Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) you may submit a Request for Fee Waiver Form and letter of economic hardship to Valdosta State University’s Office of Testing stating reason(s) necessitating your request.
Request for Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT)
The request should be mailed or emailed to:
Valdosta State University
Attn: Rebecca Taylor, Director of Testing
1500 N Patterson Street
Valdosta, GA 31698
To allow time to process your request, please assure that your Request for Fee Waiver Form and letter of economic hardship is submitted to VSU’s Office of Testing two weeks before your indicated test date.
Please be advised that the Office of Testing is granted a limited number of fee waivers for the GMAT from GMAC per year. Only one fee waiver will be granted each month. Each request for fee waiver will be reviewed and granted based on need. Submission of the Request for Fee Wavier form and letter does not guarantee that a fee waiver will be granted.
If your fee waiver has been approved, you will receive an email with a voucher number to be included when you register for the GMAT.
