Spring 2011-Award recipients
The Office of Volunteer Services gives out two awards each spring semester. The two awards are the Volunteer Voice Award and the "Serve First" award.
Volunteer Voice Award
Candidates for these awards must demonstrate strong leadership abilities and devotion to the community through service, document a minimum of 100 service hours with the Office of Volunteer Services, and maintain good academic standing with the university.
"Serve first" award
Candidates for this award must be an active executive board member of a community service based organization who has served a minimum of 2 semesters in their current position and have completed and documented at least 50 hours of community service with their organization and 25 hours of independent service. These members must exemplify Outstanding Leadership, Dedication ,and Commitment to service .
