Kappa Sigma

In 1996 The Kappa Sigma Fraternity was established at Valdosta State University. Since then Kappa Sigma has quickly established itself as one of the premier fraternities on campus. The President’s Cup Award, which is awarded to the best fraternity on campus, was won by Kappa Sigma only three years after being on campus. Over the next ten years we have won this prestigious award 7 times, including 6 times over the last 7 years. Being the largest fraternity on campus, we pride ourselves on being very involved not only in the Greek community, but our student body as well. Currently Kappa Sigma has the highest GPA of all fraternal organizations on campus and consistently staying above the all men’s average. Our chapter is well known for its philanthropy week in which we dedicate an entire week to raising money for local and national charities while having a good time doing it. We compete in every intramural sport offered by the school, so everyone has a chance to participate. Year in and year out our chapter is recognized by the Kappa Sigma International Headquarters as being one of the top 25 recruiting chapters in the nation. All of the brothers here at Valdosta State University look forward to your arrival here and hope you look to Kappa Sigma when deciding which fraternity is best for you.
See you soon,
The Kappa Sigma Fraternity
