Kappa Delta

Kappa Delta was founded at Longwood College in Farmville,Virginia on October 23, 1897. Kappa Delta created National Women's Friendship Month, which is held in September every year. This month was established to remind women that their friendships are precious and need to be cherished.

The Kappa Delta Chapter here at Valdosta State University is Gamma Mu. Gamma Mu works hard with their many philanthropies. They hold a flag football tournament every year. This year Gamma Mu raised $18,000 for Prevent Child Abuse America. They also were rewarded a room in the Children's Advocacy center in Valdosta.
