Special events
This committee covers a wide range of events but mainly focuses on coordinating novelty events. Participants often create keepsakes at these events to remind them of their experience such as "wax hands" and "crystal images". Other events include Casino Night, Blazer Bowling, Laser Tag and Think Fast Trivia as well.
Fall '11 Events
September 1-Giant Chair Photos
4-7 pm
Come enjoy a Big Chair Photo. A giant blowup chair will be available to have your photo taken by a professional photographer on. It will be a great memory to take with you and display for your friends to see.
September 15- Photo Dry Erase Boards
4-8pm Student Union Ballroom A
Dry erase boards help students display their interests, keep track of schedules, and to leave notes to roommates. Come make a personalized dry erase board with your own personal photos
September 29- Caricatures by Jeff Mendell
3-7pm at the Student Union in Ballroom A
Jeff Mandell is one of the premier sketch artists in the country. Come and have your caricature drawn to take home and enjoy with friends and family.
Oct 13- VSU's Improv Comedy Group
7-9 pm
Come enjoy a night of laughter with Valdosta State's own Improv Comedy Group as they entertain you with a variety of skits and theatre games.
Oct 27- Photobooth
5-9 pm UC Cypress Rm
Come out and take silly photos with your friends. You can choose between black and white or color photos. The end product is a strip of 6 high-quality photos! Come out and make some memories.
Nov 10- Custom Designed Glassware
4-8 pm
UC Cypress Room
Student Thanksgiving and Christmas are around the corner, surprise your friends and family with your own custom designed glassware. Products range from glasses to piggy banks.
Dec 1- Relaxing Chair Massage
5-9 pm UC Cypress Room
Stressed about finals? Take a break from studying and come enjoy a nice relaxing chair massage
