John Wright was born in Cheyenne, Wyoming, but consider himself a Georgia native since he has lived in the state most of his life. John moved from Warner Robins, GA to attend Valdosta State University where he received his Bachelor of Fine Arts in Speech Communications and a Masters in Public Administration. John started working for VSU in 2000 in the Event Services office and moved to the Office of Student life in the spring of 2003 to focus more on student programming.
John enjoy's being in the outdoors (hunting, fishing, and exercising), football (go Blazers!), reading, and pursuing research in student development through co-curricular activities. john Wright is the faculty advisor for Pi Kappa Phi and a member of Order of Omega.
