What does it cost to join the Parents & Families Association?

Yearly dues for the VSU Parents and Families Association are $25 for two adults living at the same address.

What do I receive with my membership?

  • Membership card
  • Lunch cooler (If you register by July 1st)
  • Car decal
  • P & F Notepad

How are membership dues used?

Membership dues are used to provide for quarterly e-news letters to all members. The majority of membership dues are used in two areas; 1) emergency situations which may arise for individual students, and 2) supporting students for opportunities that enhance the educational mission of the university.  The Parents and Families Association is also the main sponsor for the annual Student Leadership Awards Banquet held in spring semester.  This banquet recognizes student leaders who have made a positive impact on the VSU campus.

Where do I find other information about VSU?

On our Parents’ Resource Center website: This is designed to assist parents by providing valuable information and resource contacts on the VSU campus. Although your son or daughter has left home for college, they still need your advice, counsel, encouragement and wisdom. Please use this site as a reference if your son or daughter calls you with a concern or issue they can’t answer. We are here to assist students, and to work for their success, so please encourage your son or daughter to ask questions and take responsibility for themselves and their college career.
