Anorexia, an eating disorder, has the highest mortality rate of any mental illness
~February is National Eating Disorders Month, and it is important that we recognize the reality of how many people suffer from eating disorders.~

Extreme fear of fatness, dramatic weight loss, intense dieting and/or exercise, Discontinuity of monthly period, secret lifestyle habits, binge eating, self-induced vomiting, Very Low Self-Esteem, and Perfectionist

QPR is an effective tool to assist you if you have a friend that may be in danger:
Q- Acknowledge the person’s distress by asking questions about how they feel.
P- Listen patiently as the person explains how they feel; after their finished talking, you can help them to focus on solutions by persuading them to get professional help.
R- Find a medical professional to refer your friend; the best referral is actually taking your friend to the medical professional.
