Campus Communications Board Meeting minutes 09/21/05
The new Campus Communications Board was called to order by Chair, Russ Mast. Members present were Jason Adams, Octavia Meyers, Charles Harmon, Robin Vickery, Dr. Pat Miller, Jim Morgan, Robert Williams, Josh Stone, Russell Mast (Chair).
Mr. Mast explained the rationale behind the new Campus Communications Board Committee and the committee member make-up. The committee structure is as follows:
Dean of Students (Chair)
Two SGA Senators
One CAB Representative
Director of University Relations
Director of Student Life
Spectator Editor
WVVS General Manager
Odradek Editor
Faculty Representative
One representative from the community with background as newspaper professional
One representative from the community with background as radio professional
Mr. Mast further explained that a rough draft of the by-laws for the Campus Communications Board would be emailed to each member of the committee for their review before the next board meeting.
New Business: The next meeting time for the Campus Communications Board was set for Friday, October 21, 2005 at 12:00 PM in the Dean of Students Conference Room. This was a consensus for Communications Board’s meeting time and date.
