Student & Student Organization Awards
Each spring, The Division of Student Affairs honors individual students and student organizations that have demonstrated exceptional leadership skills and involvement during the past academic year. Nominations for these awards may come from any Valdosta State University faculty, staff, or student. There is also no limit to how many nominations a single person can make.
A selection committee made up of faculty and staff will select the successful recipients based on the area of achievement and the specific criteria met associated with each award. Members of the selection committee will not have any direct affiliation with any of the nominated organizations (i.e. advisor, alumni member).
All nomination forms must be returned to the Office of Student Life, attention Robin Vickery or send an attachment to rvickery@valdosta.edu. Invitations will be forthcoming to all nominees and nominators.
