  • Joined SRA in August 2007
  • Head of Strategic Research & Analysis Department
  • Earned a Ph.D. in Educational Leadership & Policy Studies, Masters in Higher Education Administration, and Certificate in Institutional Research from Florida State University, and a Bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York, College at Brockport.
  • Serve at the VSU’s Liaison to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS).
  • Work with individual departments and offices on assessment and evaluation (i.e., data analysis, custom survey development, and reporting).
  • Provide support and leadership for institutional effectiveness, quality
    enhancement, and accountability functions at Valdosta State University including oversight of institutional research, assessment, and evaluation.
  • Follow current University System of Georgia, state, regional, and federal policy trends to identify and report on issues that will impact the university.
  • Complete special projects as assigned by the President.

  • Ed.D. in Higher Education Administration from Florida State University
  • Graduate Certificate in Institutional Research from Florida State University
  • Responsible for combining data from multiple systems and sources (i.e. Banner, PeopleSoft, CUPA, IPEDS, census) and analyzing state and national higher education policies
  • Authored two books on VSU’s history: A Mosaic of People and Events in the History of Valdosta State University’s Business Operations, 1906-2006 (2006) and Sincerely, Frank; Frank R. Reade: Professor, President and Camp Director (2008)
  • Interests include higher education finance, facilities, and history; multiculturalism and the effects of changing demographics

  • Awarded the Outstanding Poster Award for a research entitled Are They Depressed or Just Old? Recognition of Depressive Symptoms by an Elderly Audience.

  • During her undergraduate years, Meghan was President of Psi Chi, a national honor society in Psychology and was named Outstanding Senior of the Year in the Department of Psychology.
  • Responsible for survey analysis, special projects, and publication design.
