SSWAG Book Scholarship

The District 11 School Social Work Association of Georgia has founded a book scholarship in the amount of $200 for a Valdosta State University MSW student who is working towards School Social Work Certification.

Sandra Wilcher, current President for District 11, spearheaded this effort to support a MSW student planning to serve children as a school social worker. The scholarship will cover the costs of books for the “Practice in Schools” course taken during the summer or fall semester.

Applicants must be in good academic standing and entering their concentration year. The application deadline is June 5, 2008. If you have further questions, you may contact Allison Curington (amcuring@valdosta.edu).
