Who cares Workshop (Caring for someone with Alzheimers/Dementia)

Date: Thursday, May 7, 2009

Time: Workshop is from 9:00 am until 3:00 pm
Registration and continental breakfast begin at 8:30 am

Where: Cypress Room at the Valdosta State University - University Center Building
Parking should be available in the University Center parking lot

Speakers: Dr. Larry Tune, Emory University will address medical issues;
The Area Agency on Aging in Waycross, GA will be discussing other resources for Seniors;
and Dr. Carol Rossiter, Valdosta State University’s Division of Social Work will address legal issues with regard to seniors and their families.

A panel of caregivers will be sharing their experiences and answering questions at the end of the workshop (professionals will be on hand to answer questions also)

Cost: $20 regular
$25 for CEU's (offering 3.5
Continental Breakfast and lunch are included
