Private Lessons: I strongly encourage students to enroll in private lessons, especially those placed into Concert Strings and VSYO.
Apprentice Student Assistants are underclassmen who offer 30-minute lessons for $50 per semester (approximately $4 per lesson) in order to gain their first teaching experiences:

Student Assistants are upperclassmen who offer 30-minute lessons for $60 per month ($15 per lesson). These teachers have passed a barrier jury, have several years of teaching experience, and have completed/will complete methods or pedagogy teacher training.

***We have VERY LIMITED funds for financial aid. For students in need, we can offer free lessons with an Apprentice Student Teacher or reduced-rate lessons with a Student Assistant ($10 instead of $15 per lesson). Aid is awarded based on need and merit, according to the financial aid form submitted on or before first day of class.
