On January 30th and 31st, S.A.V.E. will host a local event to coincide
with the LARGEST EVER national environmental teach-in, Focus The Nation!

Throughout the day on Thursday, January 31st, VSU faculty will be talking with students about environmental issues and global climate change in their classes. Several faculty members have agreed to open their classes to other VSU students and employees for this day to reach a larger audience.

1:00 PM – Update on the Green Fee campaign, a collective effort by students at all 35 USG institutions to pass a proposed student activity 'green' fee to promote alternative, sustainable energy usage at college and university campuses in Georgia. By Tasha Fast.

4:00 PM – The Politics of Science – Presented by Dr. Douglas Frink

Studies Department presents a panel of three professors addressing the topic of
ecology, spirituality and world religions from their respective fields of
knowledge.
