Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP) Phase TWO

Researching, Developing, and Planning for Implementation of VSU's Quality Enhancement Plan

Based upon which of the QEP proposals is selected, the QEP planning Committee, the committee in charge of Phase Two, will be populated by faculty and staff with the expertise in the areas addressed by the selected QEP. This committee will further develop the selected QEP by:

1. Conducting any further research deemed necessary into background, best practices in the field, assessment issues and outcomes, and other key elements of the QEP.

2. Evaluating the needs of the QEP in terms of costs, space, and personnel; and

3. Writing and editing the formal QEP for submission to SACS in January 2010.

The selected QEP needs to be ready to implement immediately after the On-Site Review Committee's visit to VSU in April 2010.

Phase Two Task Timeline
The Desired Student Learning Outcomes, Actions to Be Implemented, and Timeline Subcommittee will articulate the timeline after we define the learning outcomes and actions to be implemented. We'll define which actions to implement in which years. The timeline will start right after the SACS site visit and then run for 5 years.
