The Human Capital Performance major is designed to increase students' understanding of the social, psychological and managerial aspects of the work environment. The Human Capital Performance program at Valdosta State University equips students with invaluable skills in a variety of areas and prepares them for leadership positions within their technical field.

The VSYou Difference

Students can enter the Human Capital Performance program at Valdosta State after completing a technical course of study at a partnering Georgia two-year college and earning the equivalent of an Associate of Applied Science degree. Students then complete their academic studies at Valdosta State and earn a four-year Bachelor of Applied Science degree. Students in the program can enhance their classroom experience by joining Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda, an organization that seeks to introduce students to innovative leadership and career development programs.

What You'll Learn

Students in the Human Capital Performance program at Valdosta State take courses from the university’s core curriculum in areas such as essential skills, institutional options, humanities/fine arts, social sciences, and science, math and technology.
