The VSYou Difference

Students in the Spanish program at Valdosta State become proficient in the language thanks to small classes and one-on-one interactions with faculty. Students can further hone their Spanish-speaking skills by participating in one of the department’s study abroad programs, in which students travel to Spain, Mexico, Peru and Argentina to become immersed in the culture and communicate with native speakers. On campus, students can interact with native speakers and practice their language skills by joining the Latin American Student Association. The department’s foreign language lab gives students a quiet and dedicated space to study and access online resources.
