REVISED FACULTY RESEARCH SEED GRANT (FRSG) GUIDELINES/FORMS FOR FY 2012-2013 NOW AVAILABLE!
The Faculty Scholarship & Research Committee has released revised guidelines and application materials for the Faculty Research Seed Grant (FRSG) program for Fiscal Year 2012-2013.
Highlights of Changes:
(1) Faculty may now receive FRSG awards every other year. This change is retroactive; Fiscal Year 2010-2011FRSG recipients will be eligible for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 funding.
(2) An application may be revised and resubmitted only one time. Thereafter, any proposal submitted must be substantially different from the unfunded one. This change is retroactive and applies to all proposals previously submitted but not funded.
(3) The required proposal format has been modified to reduce redundancy and instructions have been updated.
The first competition for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 was completed in April 2012.
The second and final competition for Fiscal Year 2012-2013 funding will occur early in the Fall 2012 semester, with proposals due on September 17, 2012. The revised guidelines and instructions will apply.
All Fiscal Year 2012-2013 funds are available for expenditure through June 30, 2013, subject to fiscal year end financial procedures.
