VSU offers a wide variety of programs that allow you to spend a semester or academic year abroad. Programs are available in almost every field of study.


Autonomous University of the Yucatan (UADY), Mexico	Located in the picturesque city of Merida, the University of the Yucatan offers you an opportunity to explore a blend of Mexican, Mayan, and Caribbean cultures. Kansai Gaidai, Japan	Located in the cultural heart of Japan, Kansai Gaidai provides an excellent starting point from which to begin your exploration of a land that, by anyone's standards, is truly fascinating. University of Roehampton, England	Roehampton, only six miles southwest of the center of London, is set in a pleasant environment close to parklands, gardens, and historic buildings. Syktyvkar State University, Russia	Syktyvkar is the administrative, educational, cultural, and industrial center of the Komi Republic in northern European Russia. Samara State University, Russia	Samara is situated on the picturesque bank of the river Volga, the longest and mightiest river in Europe. It is the economic and cultural center of the region, with theaters, museums, and numerous attractions. Samara State University is an outward looking institution with some classes offered in English. Students should, however, have at least two years of Russian before applying for an exchange.

University of La Serena, Chile	Do you want to visit a country of startling contrast and beauty? In Chile you can find volcanic peaks of the Andes in the east and beautiful beaches in the west. Eszterhazy Karoly College, Hungary	Eger is a favored tourist attraction, famous for it’s spectacular Baroque monuments and historic buildings, as well as being the site of Hungary’s heroic resistance to the advance of the Ottoman Empire. Abant Izzet Baysal University, Turkey	Located in the city of Bolu, between Ankara, the capital city, and Istanbul, the largest and most famous city in Turkey. The region presents a lovely and rich natural and cultural content. The teaching language of the university is Turkish except the Faculty of Science and Art where the courses are taught in English. Palacky University, Czech Republic	Palacky University is located in the charming Moravian city of Olomouc, one of the most beautiful areas in the Czech Republic. Paisley University, Scotland	Paisley, Scotland's largest town, is situated just 10 minutes from Glasgow and within easy reach of Scotland's most stunning scenery. Zeppelin University, Germany	Zeppelin University is located in the southern German town Friedrichshafen, on the shores of lake Konstanz. International Student Exchange Program (ISEP)	This affiliation offers USG students opportunities to study abroad for a semester or longer, while paying virtually the same costs as studying in Georgia. Currently, students can choose to study abroad in one of over 30 different countries, representing every region of the world. The USG ISEP programs are administered through Valdosta State University's Center for International Programs.

Toulouse Business School, France	The Undergraduate Business Program's mission is to prepare students for careers in operational Marketing and the "negotiation professions" - Sales, Purchasing, and Distribution, helping them to become autonomous, open-minded individuals who are motivated by the challenge of negotiation and equipped to contribute effectively to corporate performance, in France and internationally. Toulouse boasts the highest number of students outside Paris and basks in the privileged position of being close to the Pyrenees, the Mediterranean and the Atlantic Ocean. Karlsruhe, Germany

Valdosta State has two partner instutions in Karlsruhe, Germany. The Karlsruhe University of Education, found at and the University of Applied Sciences. Students may study a variety of subjects. German language is also offered. For students with advanced language skills, a variety of courses are available in German, including business and education.

Otemon Gakuin, Japan

Located just minutes from Osaka and Kyoto, Otemon Gakuin University is the host of VSU's summer intensive Japanese program. Students who want to continue Japanese studies may participate in one-year or one semester exchanges.
