The Division of Information Technology has worked closely with key faculty and support personnel to accommodate curricular needs and existing resources to determine the campus-wide distribution of Microsoft Office 2007. Information Technology began Office 2007 distribution in April 2007 and expects near 100% completion by the end of Fall 2007 semester. The Office 2007 Orientation session has been offered to faculty, staff and student workers since April 2007. Here are some interesting facts:

  • 468 faculty and staff members have attended the Office 2007 Orientation Session
  • 78 student assistants, lab assistants, GA's and tutors have attended the Office 2007 Orientation Session
  • 2,200 completed installations of Microsoft Office 2007 on faculty, staff and campus lab computers
  • 500 copies of Microsoft Office 2003 still remain on campus computers
  • The Student Success Center offers tutoring for any VSU student in Office 2007
