Brittany Baldwin graduated from Valdosta State University in May 2009, where she obtained a Bachelors of Fine Art in Theatre.  Originally, Brittany came to VSU to major in Theatre because she wanted to teach theater at a High School level.  However, throughout her years obtaining her undergraduate education, she spent time working in a college setting and began to realize that was the age group with whom she would like to work, which is why Brittany decided to obtain her master’s degree in Higher Education and Leadership here at VSU.

Brittany worked as a Resident Assistant and Student Assistant during her years (2006 – 2009) as an undergraduate student.  However, after entering into the Higher Education and Leadership program, Brittany moved to the OASIS department at VSU and began advising undergraduate students.  She enjoys advising because she feels that helping students is not only rewarding for her but interesting as well.  She believes that student success is vital and working in OASIS allows her to directly help each student achieve that success.  In the future Brittany hopes to work as a full-time advisor at a four year University, eventually working her way up to director or department head.  Her ultimate goal is to advise students in the Fine Arts department and become Dean of Fine Arts.
