RN Preference Pathway

VSU College of Nursing offers an innovative program for Registered Nurses (R.N.) --- RN PREFERENCE PATHWAYThis special path allows RN students to enter and progress in the RN PREFERENCE PATHWAY before selecting their degree objective.  Students may choose to pursue the Baccalaureate degree (B.S.N.), and complete nursing requirements in one academic year, or students may prefer to pursue a Master of Science in Nursing degree (M.S.N.), which may be obtained in two and one-half years of full time study.  The B.S.N. is awarded concurrently upon completion of degree requirements for M.S.N. degree.

The Graduate Path program of study is designed to meet the needs of the RN whose dedication to lifelong learning and empowerment demands the attainment of formal advanced education.  This preparation is provided with an experenced and dedicated faculty, in a scholarly and collegial atmosphere.  Full and part time study is available.
