Required Pathophysiology Course
Based on an analysis of student performance data, emerging curriculum requirements for baccalaureate nursing, and feedback from our students, NURS2700 Pathophysiology has been added as a required pre-requisite course for entry into the BSN program. This requirement will take effect for students entering the program in Spring of 2009 but is highly recommended for all nursing majors, including those who will be entering the program in Fall 2008.
This course will be offered in an online format, beginning summer 2008, so that students may access the course from any site at any time. Students may elect to take pathophysiology at another institution but you should contact your advisor before selecting a course to make sure it will transfer as an equivalent course.
If you have any questions regarding this or any academic issue please contact your academic advisor, Assistant Dean Temple, or Dean Anita Hufft.
