NursingCAS Spring 2012 Application Deadline Update

Spring 2012 Application Deadline moved to August 1, 2011

NursingCAS has sent out notification that the application portal will be closed to all new applicants from August 1, 2011 to August 15, 2011.  During this time, NursingCAS will not allow you to select new designations.  However, you are still able to mail in any missing transcripts and NursingCAS will continue to process your application during this period.  Based on this information, Valdosta State University College of Nursing is moving the application deadline for spring 2012 to August 1, 2011.  Please make sure you have your application submitted on or before July 31, 2011 to ensure your application is processed.

Before You Create an Application

  • Each applicant must apply and be accepted to Valdosta State University prior to applying to the College of Nursing.
  • VSU College of Nursing requires each applicant to attend an Applicant Advising Session prior to applying for admission to the College of Nursing.
  • Contact individuals that you would like to have for references. If you want to have references sent electronically, ask them for accurate email addresses.
  • Obtain student copies of your college transcripts to assist you in completing the course work section of the application.
  • Read the NursingCAS Admissions Code of Cooperation for applicant responsibilities.
  • Request official transcripts using the Transcript Request Form. This form can be printed from the Forms section once you create an application
