Core courses (9 semester hours) are required for Masters candidates and include Nursing Theory, Research, Pathophysiology, and Issues.  Descriptions of all courses may be found in the Valdosta State University Graduate Bulletin.

Clinical tracks are available in Adult Health, Psychiatric/Mental Health, and Parent-Child Health Nursing. 

The offering of clinical tracks in any given year is dependent on enrollment.  Functional areas are Adult Nurse Practitioner, Care Manager, Educator, and Administrator.

  *Hours may be taken concurrently with other courses upon completion of the Research Course.
Additional electives are to be offered on a "rotating" basis.  These electives are open to all graduate nursing students.
