Because NOTE has gone online and no longer produces a print version, all submissions must be in electronic format. Follow submission guidelines.

Some highlights of going electronic: we lose the burden of print costs and NOTE can publish longer articles and broaden its focus to include creative writing. However, because we want to improve NOTE's scholarship and academic credentials, we will not increase the number of scholarly / pedagogical articles published each issue and will restrict publication of creative works to one poem, one short fiction, and one creative non-fiction piece per issue. This allows time and opportunity for quality peer-review.

I have archived many back issues of NOTE, and intend to expand the archives as time permits. No archive is built in a day, but eventually more back issues will be accessible on-line.
