Call for Creative Writing Works
NOTE is expanding its parameters to include creative fiction, poetry, or non-fiction concerned with teaching in the South.
RATIONALE: Sometimes teaching English is not just about scholarship, the classroom, or administration--and sometimes it IS, but not the way most scholarly journals emphasize. Inside every English teacher lurks the soul of a poet, the wry smile of a humorist, the snippy snark, the evil editor or the caustic cynic. NOTE wants to take note of these "hidden" personalities and experiences by publishing a work of poetry, creative non-fiction, or short fiction in each issue.
