Welcome to Notes on Teaching English (ISSN 0163-7088), a refereed journal publishing short articles, notes, and reviews on the teaching of composition and literature. Affiliated with the Georgia-Carolinas College English Association and supported by Valdosta State University, NOTE is published twice a year, in December and May.

Submissions and Subscriptions

Submissions

Articles of 2,000 to 3,000 words and reviews of 750 to 1,000 words may be sent to NOTE's editor:

Typewritten manuscripts should be sent in duplicate and should conform to MLA style. Authors' names should not appear in the manuscript. NOTE also accepts submissions on 3.5-inch DOS diskettes in either WordPerfect or ASCII format.

Subscriptions

Subscriptions to the print version of Notes on Teaching English are included in the membership dues of the Association, which are $10.00 a year. Dues for new or renewed memberships may be sent to Byron Brown at the above address.
