Success Strategies Workshop for Students
VALDOSTA -- Residential students who are struggling academically will have an opportunity to jump start the spring semester by exploring strategies for success during a workshop to be held Thursday, Jan. 5 and Friday, Jan. 6.
Residence Life, in partnership with the Success Center, Counseling Center, Library and Access Office is hosting the Success Strategies Workshop for students who have been placed on academic probation after first semester. The workshop is free for all students interested in attending.

Thursday, January 5th
1 p.m. - Welcome (Georgia Classroom)
1:20 p.m. - Grade Improvement Strategies (Georgia Classroom)
2:15 p.m. - Break
2:20 p.m. - Study and Test-Taking Skills (Georgia Classroom)
3:35 p.m. - Snack Break (multi-purpose room)
3:45 p.m. - Reducing Stress (Georgia Classroom)
4:45 p.m. - Day 1: Goal Setting
5 p.m - Dinner
Friday, January 6th
10 a.m. - Time Management (Georgia Classroom)
11 a.m. - Test Anxiety (Georgia Classroom) & Effective Writing Skills (Multi-purpose room)
12:15 p.m. - Lunch (Palms)
1:15 p.m. - Enhancing Your Memory (Georgia Classroom)
2:15 p.m. - Day 2: Goal Setting (Georgia Classroom)
2:30 p.m. - Advising, Final Questions
