Valdosta State University provides enrichment for youth

SCOPE, an educational outreach program of Valdosta State University's Regional Center for Continuing Education, will begin its 2006 program in early February for youth in the first through eighth grades.

Each three-week session provides six hours of age-appropriate activity in a fun and safe learning environment. Children will expand their horizons, make new friends, and have fun while learning important skills. Fees for classes vary depending on the subject; however, all necessary supplies are included in the cost.

Registration has begun, and parents may begin signing up their children for classes in Session I: February 4-18, or Session II: February 25-March 11.

Classes are held at VSU's Regional Center for Continuing Education at 903 North Patterson Street. For more information, call 245-6484, or visit www.valdosta.edu/conted/Programs/kids/scopeprelim.htm .
