VSU Hosts International Education Week
VALDOSTA - Valdosta State University will share and celebrate international education and exchange program opportunities for VSU students during International Education Week from October 27-30.
Members of the VSU and local communities are invited to attend lectures from visiting scholars, an international fair and various performances. The International Education Week is sponsored by the Center for International Programs, the Department of Philosophy and the Honors Program. Monday, October 20
7 p.m. - "Jews, Christians and Muslims of Spain", University Center
Lecture, Dr. Serrán-Pagán, Dept of Philosophy, Dogwood Room
Monday, October 27
7 p.m. - Russian Folk Music Performance, University Center
“Balalaika” group from Syktyvkar, Russia, UC Theatre
Tuesday, October 28
7:30 p.m. - The Indian Music of Esha Bandyopadhyay, Pound Hall

Wednesday, October 29
10 a.m. - 2 p.m. International Fair and Bazaar; Study Abroad Fair - meet international students, view country displays, participate in the bake and souvenir sales, pedestrian mall, main campus

5 p.m. - Pumpkin Carving Center for International Programs, Main Campus

7 p.m. - Movie viewing, International foods with traditional Halloween treats, Main Campus
