VSU professor receives national Outstanding Assistant Professor award

Hudson received his award this past summer at a meeting for the UCWHRE at St. Simons Island, Ga. "It was an honor just to be considered for Outstanding Assistant Professor," said Hudson. "To actually be selected for such a prestigious national award is truly a great honor—I'm really proud. This award not only recognizes me, but also the incredible progress and accomplishments of the Adult and Career Education Department and Valdosta State University."
Dr. Hudson has been teaching for over 20 years in the field of technical, trade, and industrial education. He received his doctorate from Pennsylvania State University, in 1999 and has been at VSU since 2002.
UCWHRE is a nonprofit organization composed of 19 major doctoral granting universities that provides services in career and technical education.
