VSU's impact reaches across a student body of approximately 11,500, including students from 154 Georgia counties, 45 states, 65 countries Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands .
More than 2,000 new freshmen will be influenced by the leadership of faculty and staff at VSU during fall semester 2008.
VSU strongly supports its distance learning programs, which allow traditional and non-traditional students, who are limited by both time and location, to continue their education. More than 1,451 students were enrolled in online courses for fall semester 2007, 436 of which were solely enrolled online. At least 25 of these students were involved in the newest distance learning program, Doctor of Public Administration.
