Dr. Melanie Byrd
Dr. Bryd, Professor of History at VSU, taught MLIS 7970 Libraries and Literacy in History (Course cross-listed as History 7970) in Summer 2004. She co-taught the course with Dr. Koehler in Summer 2006 and 2008.
Ms. Jewel Eller
Ms. Eller is manager of the Rabun County, Georgia Public Library. She holds the MLIS from VSU and an MBA. She co-taught MLIS 7240 Markting Library Services with Dr. Green in Spring 2006.
Dr. Faizur Rahman
Dr. Rahman is manager of library systems at McDermott Library, University of Texas at Dallas and holds a Ph.D. in Information Science from University of North Texas. He taught Library Systems and Automation at a leading university of Bangladesh and worked as an Oracle Database Administrator prior to his current position in 2002.
Mr. William Richards
Mr. Richards was University Librarian and now serves as University Archivist at Georgia State College and University (GC&SU). He has taught MLIS 7710 Archival Theory and Issues. The course is also offered through the Department of History at GC&SU.
Dr. Robert Swisher
Dr. Swisher is an emeritus professor of library and information science at the University of Oklahoma. He offered MLIS 7370 Information Architecture in 2005. He also offered MLIS 7150 Social Sciences Information Services in 2003.
Dr. Ruth Woo
Dr. Woo is a participating reference librarian and holds the Ph.D. from Florida State University. She taught MLIS 7130 Humanities Information Services in 2004.
