ST. PETERSBURG MEDIA TOUR
Directed by Daniel Thomas. This short documentary highlights a trip to St. Petersburg, Russia by two VSU professors and four Mass Media students. Focusing on the collaboration and comparison of media application and technique, the documentary presents their findings. |

SPORTS BROADCASTING
One of the highlights of the Mass Media program is its sports broadcasting. In addition to covering VSU Athletic events, our students work with ESPN, FOX Sports, Monday Night Football and CBS Sports. The clip featured here is an example of all of our coverage of VSU Athletic events for VSU TV. |

ARTS PROGRAMMING
Our students are encouraged to participate beyond the classroom. This would include working on cultural and arts based programming for VSU TV. Our weekly series, "Sunday at the Symphony" features performances by the Valdosta Symphony Orchestra. |

If you've seen CNN, MTV or VH-1, heard NPR, you may already be familiar with the faculty's work. The production featured here was produced in Paris, France for the European Council of the University System of Georgia. Over the past couple of years, several students have traveled abroad to work on summer documentary projects. |
