Media Policies and Procedures
Checking out Equipment:
To be eligible to check out equipment a patron must
- Be a current student, faculty member, or staff member
- Present a current Valdosta State University ID
- have an academic need for the equipment
Reservations:
For high demand items such as laptops, mini digital video recorders, camcorders, LCD projectors, and PA systems, patrons should reserve their materials in advance in order to guarantee availability. There is no limit as to how far in advance a customer may request materials, but each item has particular restrictions on how long it may be issued to a patron.

Flip camcorders require AA batteries which can be purchased at the Media Center for .30 each. |

Camcorder Issued for direct academic support only. No personal use allowed. |

LCD projectors |
1 day |
LCD Projectors are issued for direct academic support only. No personal use allowed. You must fill out and sign a Faculty Authorization form and have it signed by the sponsoring Faculty before checking out an LCD projector. |

PA System |
1 day |
*** Must be checked out by a VSU campus organization (clubs, frats, etc) for a VSU supported events. No personal use allowed. |
