Using LexisNexis to Find World News
1. On the main GALILEO page, type lexis into the Find database by Name box.
2. Click on LexisNexis Academic.
3. In the top red, click on News. You will need to enter a search term. If you don't have a specific topic, simply search on the country name. It may be helpful to try to exclude sports stories. Click on "Terms and Connecters" then enter "CountryName and not sports" (see screen shot, below). Further down the scree, iIn the "Select Sources" area, choose Major World Newspapers (or Major World Publications). Finally, specifiy an appropriate date range (Previous 3 months...Today?).
