Searching for Full-Text Article Availability

Searching in E-Journals is very helpful when you have an article citation (such as, the citations you would receive from searching LISA). This database allows you to search for Journal Titles available in many of the GALILEO databases at Odum Library.

  • If you are Off-Campus: Go to the Odum Library homepage, http://www.valdosta.edu/library/
  • Select Anywhere Access (located left side of screen under Main Menu)
  • Type in your BlazeNet username & password
  • Select E-Journals
  • Type the title of the Journal you are searching for in the FIND search box
  • If the Journal is available in electronic format, the title will appear followed by a list of databases the journal is available through
  • Select one of the available database names
  • Select the appropriate year of publication
  • Select the appropriate issue
  • Select the title of the article (selecting pdf or html full-text will allow you to print)

Please note: sometimes you will see the message“12 month embargo”.  This means the most recent issue from the past 12 months are not available Online at this time.

If a Journal Title is not available Online in an electronic database, try searching for a print version in the GIL Catalog.  If Odum Library does not have a print copy, you can submit an InterLibrary Loan (ILL) request to have a copy made of an article and sent to you.
