GETTING TO JOURNAL ARTICLES IN PRINT
|
![]() |
Even if an article isn’t available full text through Odum Library, it might be available in a print journal we subscribe to. Once you have your list of article citations, then, beginning on the Odum Library homepage, you can easily search to see if the library has access to the journal in print.
- Here’s a citation to a journal article from Academic Search Premier, a database hosted by the vendor EBSCO. The journal title is circled in red.

- From the Odum Library homepage, select the Journals tab. Enter the journal title, circled in green below, in the search box for print journals.

- Odum Library has the Journal of Educational Psychology available in print, but be sure to check the dates of the issues we hold. According to the record below, from our GIL Catalog, your article from “Feb. 2006, Vol. 98 Issue 1” is available in our Recent Issues, circled below in green. You’ll find recent issues of journals arranged alphabetically by title in the Current Periodicals Reading Room on the first floor, new addition, of Odum Library.
- If you need articles from Journal of Educational Psychology that are older than 2005, you can go to our bound or microfilm volumes. Dates and volume numbers of our holdings are circled below in blue.
- Bound journals (a.k.a. “bound periodicals”) are also arranged alphabetically by title and are located on the first and second floors of Odum Library. You’ll find Journal of Educational Psychology on the first floor. Maps of the library are available at both Circulation desks and at the Reference desk on the second floor.
