First Floor Renovation

The first floor, original side, of Odum Library is closed for renovation.

The bound periodicals are still on the first floor, covered with huge sheets of plastic.

Librarians, faculty, students, and staff are not allowed into the construction zone, for safety reasons. If you need a bound periodical, microfiche, or microfilm that is located in the construction zone, you need to fill in a request form…

A designated library employee will retrieve the item for you, as soon as is safely possible.

Request forms are located at the main Circulation Desk and the Reference Desk.

Moving takes a lot of people.

Sometimes it gets messy.

After the mess you have emptiness.

Areas that were tidy, are not tidy anymore.

Bizarre accidents happen. Not to worry, no books (or librarians) were harmed.

Soon we will be all tidy and organized again. Ths is a library, after all.

Microfiche Collection Has Moved!

The Microfiche collection has been moved to the 1st floor of the addition. Photo 1 below shows the view from the Current Periodical room. The collection is down the hallway to the left, just prior to passing into the original building. Photo 2 shows the collection itself.

The microfiche collection houses a number of valuable resources, including the ERIC educational documents and a large number of government document titles.
