Still among the OVERSIZE books on the third floor, we ran across The Heeey Baby Days of Beach Music: Stories and Remembrances of a Southern Music Genre, an extensive and colorful survey of the South’s 1960’s-era good-time party bands. Ask for the CDs that go with it at the Second Floor Reserve Desk and rock out to the Swingin’ Medallions, the Jesters and the Catalinas.
