Recently on National Public Radio, author Michael Chabon recommended Arthur Conan Doyle’s The Exploits of Brigadier Gerard, available here in Odum, crazily enough, in its 1896 edition. If you liked Chabon’s Pulitzer Prize-winning The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay, check out his first novel The Mysteries of Pittsburgh wherein a recent college graduate comes to terms with his friends, his sexuality and his dad’s job with the Mob.
