Cataloging: Save and Save Plus in Voyager Cataloging

1. To save a Holdings Record (MFHD) or an Item Record to the database:

Save to DB (or use CTL - B).

2. To save a Bibliographic Record to the database: Save Plus (or use CTL - F) if you are cataloging a title for the first time, and we don't yet have holdings attached on OCLC. This will save the record to both the database and the local file. The record will be extracted later from the local file and used to attach our holding symbol on OCLC.

Save to DB or use CTL - B if you are editing a record for a title that's already been cataloged. If we already have holdings on OCLC, save your edited record only to the database (the catalog), not to the local file.
