Ongoing Projects


  • Development and publication of the quarterly South Georgia Regional Economic Forecast. This forecast is subdivided by geographic area and regional economic base.
  • Collection of cost of living data for the ACCRA Cost of Living Survey, a quarterly national comparison of areas' costs. Assistance is available to expand this project to communities not eligible to participate on a national basis.
  • Analysis of problems to specific educational deficiencies in the workforce and development of programs to correct those deficiencies.
  • Consulting, training, and other services are available though the South Georgia Institute on a negotiated fee basis, consistent with the complexity and duration of services provided. Quotations will be provided after a consultation to discuss the specific needs of organizations.
