Temporary Assistant Professor of Marketing
Gavin L. Fox is a temporary assistant professor of marketing who is currently finishing his Ph.D. in Marketing at Florida State University. Mr. Fox holds a B.S. in Management Science and an MBA from Virginia Tech. Prior to instructing at Valdosta State, Mr. Fox taught at a variety of institutions (Florida State U, Nipissing U, Georgia Southern U, South U, and New River Valley CC) and has industry experience with Norfolk Southern and in freelance consulting. His research focuses primarily on service strategy issues such as service innovation and negative word-of-mouth. His most recent research has been accepted or published in Multivariate Behavioral Research, International Journal of Operations and Production Management, and Journal of Consumer Satisfaction, Dissatisfaction, and Complaining Behavior.
